My 1999 Buell Cyclone M2 doin'

The photo
on the left is from the April 1999 "Quick Ride" article on the Buell Cyclone
in Cycle World Magazine. I
thought that the photo looked really good, so I decided to try and make
a similar one. The original photo on the right is of me on my Buell
Cyclone and was shot by my friend
Les Baker with a Sony Maciva digital camera.
It looked basically like the others shot that day. (See wheelie sequence
link below) I then took the boring digital photo and
manipulated it in Photoshop to make the background
and edges mimic the Cycle World photo. Ironically
the parts that look phony on my photo look phony on Cycle World's shot too,
like the horizon. Hey- maybe they shot their's
on a back street in Oakland too, and drew in the background like I did...
